Company
Creative Packaging was founded in 1997 by John McIntosh, Jr., after a successful stint as competition manager for the 1996 Olympic sailing events held in Savannah. When retirement beckoned in 2015, John sold his company to Gary Brewer, founder and co-owner of Package Crafters, a similar venture in High Point, NC. Gary was looking to grow his business while his wife Ginny was looking for reasons to get back to Savannah on a regular basis. After all, Gary whisked her off to North Carolina right after their Savannah wedding.
Under Gary, Creative Packaging continues as a successful family-owned-and-operated business. Our calling card has always been our high level of service and, because of that, we continue to thrive as the only independent box plant in a market dominated by integrated companies.
We specialize in custom-package-and-display design and manufacturing and round out our services with prototyping, testing, contract packaging, and fulfillment services. Our 40,000-square-foot facility is situated convenient to the Port of Savannah, I-16 and I-95. Together, the sister companies cover the Southeastern United States and complement each other's strengths.
As a member of the Associated Independent Corrugated Converters' (AICC) FirstPak program and as a United States Government approved contractor, we serve customers on a national and global basis.
